Within the spiritual community, or simply in the act of trying to find evidence of something "more", one often falls into traps set by the ego. These traps are designed to make you forget your inherent connection to all that exists.
This is my perspective based on my own spiritual awakening, managing reality as a parent, partner, and business owner with a highly sensitive neurotype (AuDHD).
Many individuals have never consciously experienced a spiritual connection. Most consider life to be highly transactional, a daunting reality where society favours specific behaviors just to survive. Consequently, most people who wish to "remember" their spirituality are taught a specific model: The Battery.
We are taught that humans are vessels that start full, drain out from the stress of living, and then become empty.
This view is dangerous. It breeds the sensationalism of gurus and high-ranking religious leaders. It convinces the masses that Source/God/Universal Life Force is an external commodity, an idol we have to go "find" to feel whole again.
When marketed this way, meditations, retreats, and consultations become fuel for the fire. They become a trap that creates dependency rather than sovereignty.
But what if you never actually "run out" of energy? What if you are just too overheated to handle the ever-flowing current?
Resistance vs. Scarcity
In physics, a battery is one type of vessel. But there is another: The Superconductor.
A superconductor is a material that allows electricity to flow through it with zero resistance, but it only works when the system remains cool.
Let’s apply this to you.
Rather than being a storage unit for energy (a battery), you are a wire connected to the Infinite. The energy is limitless and always there. It never actually leaves you. Your awareness of it has simply diminished due to the resistance accumulated through daily life, trauma, and conditioning.
The sensation of being "burnt out" doesn't indicate the grid has shut down. It indicates that high resistance combined with high voltage has caused heat to accumulate to a critical point.
In this perspective, "burnout" is not a lack of power. It is an issue of thermal regulation.
Most seekers approach this from a place of scarcity and force. They ask: "What do I need to DO to get more energy?"
Why not expand the perspective to ask: "What is creating resistance in my wire, and how do I drop it?"
This shifts us from a model of Force to a model of Allowing. It is a wonderful reminder that you are already the superconductor, you don’t need to strive to become one. Cleaning the wire and reducing the resistance simply becomes an act of Noise Reduction.
Practically speaking, in order to feel this state of remembrance, this inherent oneness and infinite capacity, one needs to shed the dust, noise, and static.
This is the tense part. Societal norms, whether in home life or work life, always push for productivity. We are taught that Success = How Much I Have Done.
But sometimes, Resting isn’t being lazy. It isn't even "recharging”. Resting is an active process of Cooling the Circuit.
More sleep, doing nothing, or taking a nap throughout the day is actually what your spirit is yearning for so you can hear the signal again. If you let the unintegrated ego force an outcome when you are sleep-deprived or deeply uninterested, you are simply adding more heat to the wire.
At times, looking for methods to reduce noise requires us to look internally, and occasionally, to hurt the feelings of those around us. Saying "No" when you feel obligated to say "Yes" is a primary cooling mechanism. Limiting beliefs, whether cultural, societal, or self-imposed, are all facets to investigate. They are the loops of resistance that diminish the signal.
Daily life without the constant influx of noise is not typical of the human experience, especially today. But there are methods to lessen the load, freely and in brief periods, to feel greater clarity.
The paradoxical practice of meditation comes to mind. Even with your mind running around in your head, you can anchor into the breath with the mantra: "Thoughts run free, I don’t investigate, I still breathe”.
Because we’ve been so heavily conditioned to analyse things, many find meditation frustrating. I invite you to continue to do it even if the thoughts outnumber the breaths. Eventually, they do quiet down. Please take my anecdotal experience on that, being AuDHD, silence doesn’t come freely to me!
And if sitting still isn’t something you care to do, you can meditate while you walk the streets, in nature, or anywhere else. I’ve personally meditated while holding my baby to sleep (both boys enjoy a more relaxed contact nap that way). Sometimes, I just sit in the noise, reminding myself internally: "It’s noise right now, but it won’t be forever”.
If you care for guidance, there is an array of free and paid meditations available. If it resonates, I’ve created one as part of my Coherence Bundle. Learning what is genuinely You (The Signal) often requires clearing what is just inner dialogue (The Static).
Remove the noise. Return to the signal.
For the remembrance of sovereignty.
